Chief Pata

I am honored and privileged to serve as Chief of Police for the Town of Ross.  This is a special community that we all value and appreciate. Our goal each day is to preserve and enhance the quality of life, safety, and security of this wonderful town for its residents, business, visitors and students. It is our mission to provide fair and ethical service to the public with honesty, inclusion and transparency.

I have dedicated the last 36 years of my life to public service and recognize there is not a “one size fits all” solution to events that require our assistance. I also have found that a collaborative and holistic approach to policing, working together with our town partners, and departments can often provide a meaningful and fair resolution that fits the needs of our neighbors.

The Ross Police Department will continue its reputation for professional and fair enforcement of local and state laws with dignity and respect for all people.

I am excited about the future of the Ross Police Department and my time here as your Chief. I am looking forward to meeting our neighbors and learning more from them about their experiences and expectations.

Please feel free to call or drop by.
