Gary Broad has worked for the Town of Ross for almost 20 years, as planning director, Town Administrator and now as Town Manager. He graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut with a B.A. in economics and government.  He has 25 years experience in local government and holds master's degree from U.C. Berkeley in City and Regional Planning and a master's degree in Public Administration.

The Town Manager manages the day-to-day operation of the Town and Town staff.  The Town Manager is responsible for supporting the 5-member Council, providing stewardship of community assets and sound financial oversight, setting clear goals and direction for staff, providing communication and information to residents and ensuring excellent and consistent customer service for the community.
