Pat Thompson is serving as Interim Town Manager following the departure of former Town Manager Gary Broad in November 2011.  Ms Thompson is a retired City Manager with over 30 years of local government experience.  Her most recent full time position was with the City of Napa where she served for 17 years before retiring in 2006. She has held several “Interim City Manager” positions in the North Bay while the Council’s in those jurisdictions recruited for a replacement Town/City Manager.  Ms. Thompson holds a  B.A. in Psychology and Masters Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University.

The Town Manager manages the day-to-day operation of the Town and Town staff.  The Town Manager is responsible for supporting the 5-member Council, providing stewardship of community assets and sound financial oversight, setting clear goals and direction for staff, providing communication and information to residents and ensuring excellent and consistent customer service for the community.
